Hi hi! I’m so happy you found my little blog. It means the word to me that you stopped by and I am so excited to connect with you. I view this blog as my own digital diary, a safe space where I share my health, wellness and life musings with you.
For as long as I can remember, I have always enjoyed moving my body. I grew up dancing and loved intentionally moving to the beat of the music. I took countless dance classes up until college and dance was a way for me to release my nervous energy.
It wasn’t until college where I took my first group exercise and yoga class. Group exercise and yoga gave me the same feelings as taking a dance class. It put me in a good mood, made me feel strong and gave me a sense of community.
My passion for movement led me to earn my first yoga certification, yoga sculpt, while still in college. I immediately connected to this class format because of how music driven it is, just like dance. I taught yoga sculpt at various CorePower Yoga studios across the Chicago suburbs after college and later went on to earn my 200-hour yoga certification and personal training certification.
I feel so honored to guide students through class as a yoga instructor. There is nothing more important to me than cueing to proper alignment to ensure all students are moving safely. Keep an eye out for on demand movement classes soon, I cannot wait to move with you (virtually!)
I’ll share more about my story later but in the meantime let me know your favorite ways to move your body in the comments below!
